Norwaste is relocating and expanding
Norwaste moved into new and larger premises at Øvre Vollgate 13 this summer and has expanded its advisory team with two new members starting in August.

We see increasing demand for our services, particularly in business development, plastic value chains, and litter analysis. Therefore, it is very pleasing that Eskild and Emma wanted to join us at Norwaste.says CEO Henrik Lystad

Eskild comes from AION, which is Akers' initiative for the circular economy. Here, he worked in sales, business development, and project management. Prior to that, Eskild worked at Felleskjøpet as a Procurement Manager, where he was responsible for purchasing waste services and also served as the project manager for Felleskjøpet's circular agricultural plastic project. Eskild holds a Master's degree in International Business from Copenhagen Business School.

Why did you choose Norwaste?
I chose Norwaste because I wanted to be able to apply much of the expertise and knowledge I have gained in circular value chains. At the same time, Norwaste is a consultancy with significant expertise in waste, allowing me to further develop in this area. In addition to being an advisor, I will also be heavily involved in business development, which is exciting because this company has significant growth opportunities.

What do you want to accomplish in Norwaste?
At Norwaste, I aim to assist businesses and public organizations in improving their circular economy practices. Reusing materials is crucial for limiting the carbon footprint of new goods, and we must move towards a society where we decouple economic growth from resource consumption.

Emma comes directly from the university with a Master's degree in International Environmental Studies from NMBU and a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from Oslo Met. Throughout her studies, she has acquired knowledge of a wide range of climate and environmental issues. She has also written a thesis on EE-waste management in Ghana. In addition to her studies, she has worked for the environmental foundation ZERO, focusing on energy systems and conference coordination.

Why did you choose Norwaste?
I immediately felt drawn to Norwaste because of the company's significant potential and the exciting projects they are involved in. Even after exploring various aspects of the environmental sector, the waste industry has always seemed particularly captivating to me. I am convinced that there will be a steep learning curve, and I look forward to the opportunity to influence and share knowledge to contribute to concrete solutions and improvements.

What do you want to accomplish in Norwaste?
In my role at Norwaste, I aim to contribute to promoting a more sustainable approach to waste management. I look forward to contributing to the implementation of concepts related to the circular economy. My ambition is to participate in the development of solutions that will have a real and positive impact on our environment and society.

We at Norwaste are looking forward to having them on the team.
